On that very road ahead, when I overtook
another vehicle, the distance between the vehicle I was overtaking and the one
coming from the opposite end was lesser than before. I still managed to do it
because the ones ahead of me and in the opposite lane cooperated.
At another point, I started overtaking but I was
not accelerating fast enough and even though it was safe to overtake, I stopped.
If you have experienced any of these things,
you must have realised that single roads can’t be managed without the
cooperation of others. Of course, not everyone cooperates and you get to see
all kinds of drivers. Our life, I feel, is like a single road.
Humans are always incomplete without teamwork. A
human may be credited for achieving something but it is never possible without
people around him. Of course, the final battle is won by the person alone yet
the contribution of people can’t be overlooked. Some people cooperate, some
people say they will cooperate but are like the first incident I mentioned. Just
when we think they will cooperate, they get their work done and go ahead. Some are
meant to break the flow. Despite all this, we keep driving and complete our
journey. Isn’t the same applicable to our lives too?
Come what may, shouldn’t we seek help whenever
we get one? Shouldn’t we be grateful that help was offered? Should we overwork
ourselves just because someone assured help but backed out the last moment? Isn’t
it wise to take it as an opportunity to learn to do it on our own? The point is
to never stop.
After all: ‘the more you move, the easier it is
to keep moving. Maintain the momentum.’
And hey you! Thanks for being here. Means a
lot. If you liked reading this, do share it with others, comment your thoughts
on it and help share the optimism.

Couldn't guess what it was taking me to.....best explanation of what life takes us through!
ReplyDeleteExplained in a very simple way.
ReplyDeleteAmazing!👏
It was a real-life experience about 14 years ago, when I decided to walk a single road that has been travelled less for the time immemorial. It was my better half, who helped me to start the journey, when nobody could ever answer my doubts about the road...except my divine master. It was the master who guided me and then there was my wife who was (and has been) with me in every up and down...both of them unconditionally. Such was the team work that was the backbone of my striding. I believe you too have something like that.
